Four people arrested in cocaine haul

The profile of four accused arrested in connection with the cocaine haul include a graduate, bouncer and driver respectively while the fourth studied in Mumbai.  Tushar Goyal , 40 , of Vasant Enclave, graduated from IP University, Delhi in 2003. His father runs two publications namely Tushar Publication and Tulip Publication in Delhi. After his graduation, Tushar also looked after his father business of Publication. After marriage in 2008, he started work of liasoning and started living a lavish life. Meanwhile he came in contact with the mastermind of cartel at Dubai and involved in the drug cartel, the police said. Himanshu Kumar ( 40), of Suleiman Nagar, Kirari, has studied up to class 12th from Delhi. After leaving study he joined gym and start working as bouncer and security man for different persons on daily basis. Later, he came in contact with Tushar Goyal and joined his drug cartel. Aurangzeb Siddiqui, ( 23) is a permanent resident of Deoaria, Uttar Pradesh and has studied up to class 11th from Deoaria. He came to Delhi in search of job and started working as a driver of Tushar household. Later, he joined the drug cartel of Tushar.  Bharat Kumar Jain 48,  pursued his studies in Mumbai. Later, he came in contact with a drug dealer of Mumbai and joined drug cartel. Appropriate legal action has been initiated against the apprehended persons and investigation for forward and backward linkages is continued. The Delhi Police has made one of the biggest drug busts ever seen in the city, seizing over 562 kilograms of cocaine and 40 kg of Hydroponic Marijuana,  estimated to be worth around Rs 5640 crore, transported to the national capital by an international module. Special Cell team had been working for over two months based on a tip-off which led to the bust as the drug was supposed to be distributed in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) as their demand is high during the festive season. Delhi Police Special Cell is probing the Narco-terror angle. According to police, they were apprehended  from Mahipalpur Extension in South West Delhi by the Special Cell of Delhi Police after working on a tip off. The remaining narcotics were discovered inside the godown in the publication factory owned by the main accused Tushar Goyal.  The raid was conducted at his publishing factory by the Special Cell of Delhi police on Tuesday night, with all four accused present at the location. Kushwaha revealed that 15 kg of the seized cocaine was found in the personal possession of Goyal, Himanshu and Aurangzeb.
